In a last act of desperation before borrowing the DVD from a friend to try and load it that way, I had some Raymond Chen style psychic insight and thought it might be a multithreading bug.

Logged into today and I can't play any games because it says "Waiting on another installation or update." It's at 0% in "Updating Battle.net" menu so I don't know what game is updating.
I uninstalled and every time open the Setup i get stuck in starting the blizzard app so i found i way to fix that , by deleting the file from C:\Program Data that way i fixed getting stuck in " starting the blizzard app " , but after that i get stuck in Updating Blizzard Agent , i uninstalled my antivirus program and uninstalled hamachi , i tried everything but still i can't find a way to solve this problem. I went to start playing Diablo again and it said it was waiting on other updates but nothing was updating.After the 2014-01-18 patch, started failing to start.It would show "Checking for updates...", then "Updating Agent..", and finally fail saying: "Installation: Something went wrong while trying to launch a program. If it happens again, try restarting your computer." After hitting the close button, there are several processes that continue to run, consuming lots of processor.
